Miranda & Miguel

Miranda and Miguel were work colleagues turned love interests. From hiking, road trips, camping, to going on adventures with their three pups, they go everywhere together! A few years pass and in May of 2020, Miranda and Miguel were engaged overlooking Sedona, Arizona. Right after, they reached out to our Iceland Wedding Planner team hoping to plan a July 2021 wedding adventure with guests. However, we all know how the pandemic changed our lives for a bit and they decided to postpone a year and start their family. So bring on Summer of 2022 and their half-day wedding adventure!

July 21^st Iceland Wedding Ceremony

Since these two were embarking on a half-day adventure wedding and love sleeping in they began their journey shortly before 1pm. Their guest list included their baby girl and parents. And how fun that the grooms mother performed the ceremony! Meanwhile this happened because they were already legally married in the USA before visiting Iceland. Further, they exchanged personal vows, rings, and celebrated with a kiss at the end!

Next, following their intimate Iceland July wedding ceremony the newlyweds took time to explore. Being in the moment together is an important feeling to embrace during your half-fay wedding adventure. Canyon Lunch Experience

A wild lunch experience is one that couples love to add on to their day, even while having a half-day wedding adventure. Hello late lunch! Traveling deeper into the highlands, Miguel, Miguel and their guests enjoyed a delicious traditional Icelandic lunch. To illustrate, they all got to try for the first time lamb hot dogs (and bean ones for our veggie lovers)! Truly, an ideal hand warming tasty treat to have during your adventure filled wedding day. Also, we always say a hot meal gives everyone a second wind no matter the weather in Iceland!

Furthermore, after lunch the adventurous lovers had the opportunity to explore the dynamic canyon from all angles! What a date moment to have during their half-day wedding adventure!!

Working their way out of the highlands and back to civilization was filled with beautiful random stops of exploration and Iceland wedding photos. Maybe a few shots and berry picking too!! Either way they thoroughly savored the journey.
