Meeting Dave and Katie for the first time I couldn’t help but SMILE. Their energy was contagious and they beamed with excitement to begin a super awesome offbeat couples portrait session in Iceland! Then funnest part: Katie had no idea where we were going! Dave just simply said they had never had professional photos taken, Iceland was the perfect opportunity and that as soon as they landed from their flight they would embark on a surprise adventure.

We headed south from Reykjavik and found our way to a secret canyon! Even though Iceland this year has had the MILDEST winter ever on record, we were lucky enough to have a DREAMY snowy Iceland couple’s adventurous portrait session! …little did Katie know she was moments away from Dave proposing too!
