Today I’d love to share with you some fabulous Iceland cocktail recipes that a few of my previous clients have used (and a couple new ones) that will not only include Icelandic liquors but will leave your guests ultimately impressed!  Note: You can expect to pay somewhere between 1,800-3,400 ISK per craft cocktail.

Glacier Blue

• 2 Parts Reyka Vodka
• 1 Part Blue Curacao
• 2 Parts Lemonade
• Splash of Sparkling/Champagne
• Served with a Sugared Rim

Wild and Free

• 2 Parts Crowberry Liqueur from 64° Reykjavik Distillery
• 1 Part Reyka Vodka
• Splash of Lemon Juice
• Fill Glass with Champagne or 7-Up

Iceland Style Gin & Tonic

• 1 ½ Parts Brennivin (aka Black Death)
• 4 parts Tonic Water
• Splash of Lemon

Endless Summer Sun

• 1 1/2  ounces of Reyka Vodka
• 4 tbsp of Lemon Juice
• 1/2 cup of Champagne or 7-Up
• 1 tbsp Simple Syrup
• 2 tbsp Blueberries and Raspberries for Garnish

The Famed: Icelandic Mule

• 2 Parts Reyka Vodka
• ¾ Part Ginger Syrup
• ½ Part Lime Juice

Little Bit Bittah

• 2 Parts Reyka Vodka
• 1 and 1/2 Parts Grapefruit Juice
• ½ Part Grenadine
• ½ Part Campari

New Maid

• 2 Parts Reyka Vodka
• ¾ Part Simple Syrup
• 1 Part Lime Juice
• Garnish with Mint Leaves and Cucumbers

Equinox

• 2 Parts Reyka Vodka
• ½ Part Dolin Blanc
• ½ Part Lillet Blanc
• Dash of Black Pepper Tincture

Borgarnes Star

• 1 ½ Parts Reyka Vodka
• ½ Part Green Chartreuse
• 1 Part Simple Syrup
• ¾ Part Lemon Juice
• 5 pieces of Italian Basil
• 1 Part Red Pepper Juice
• ½ Starfruit

Icelandic Birch Cocktail (Reference: Katrin Bjork)

• 1 Part Birkir Snaps
• 1 Part Blood Orange Juice
• ½ Part Dark Simple Syrup (Brown Sugar / Water)
• Drops of Angostura Bitter
• Dash of Sparkling Water
